Re: The Forgoing Recommendations hold good only, if the following conditions are met :
- Uniform Consistency of material to be drilled.
- Drills of ITM quality are used.
- ITM drills of HSS and HSCO quality are used.
- Max. Depth does not exceed three time the drill Diameter.
- Good Machine Condition and rigid mounting of the work piece
- No Drill Bushing are used.
- Correct quality of Coolant and sufficient flow.
- excessive run-out of the machine spindle or Drill.
With these point in mind, the figures in the table may be increase or reduce accordingly. |
